Allie [she/her] works with adults [18+] across the life span. She identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ clients, people living with chronic illness, caregivers, and those facing end-of-life transitions or grieving a loss. She uses a compassion-focused and strength-based approach with clients, trusting in the resilience of all individuals even in the face of uncertainty. She completed her Master’s in Social Work in 2021 at the University of Maryland, and since has worked with LGBTQIA+ young adults in transitional housing, as well as most recently providing counseling as a medical social worker for oncology patients. Allie brings a deep respect for each person’s unique story and resilience, and a trust that people can uncover meaning and strength even in times of uncertainty.
