Ben works with adults, adolescents, families, and couples. His style is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in psychodynamic therapy. This means you may look at how past experiences shape your present, including the ways you see yourself, connect with others, and navigate conflicts. You may also look at immediate stressors with a goal of identifying tools to manage the challenges of day to day life.
He believes that therapy begins with conversation. Many people come to therapy because they feel stuck, whether in relationships, emotions, or patterns of thought. Ben works with clients to discover fresh ways of expressing themselves to promote growth and healing.
Ben earned his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and his Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University. He is a certified Level 2 Gottman Couples Therapist.
