Eren Santana-Bykofsky(they/them) is a dedicated and innovative art therapist who integrates creative expression with evidence-based practices to support meaningful growth and healing. Their work aligns with the standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Art Therapy Education, ensuring a high level of professionalism, ethical care, and clinical excellence.
Eren approaches therapy through a holistic framework that incorporates cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills, and affective behavioral learning domains. This comprehensive model allows them to meet clients where they are-supporting not only insight and emotional understanding, but also skill-building and embodied expression.
They have extensive experience working with both children and adults across a wide range of needs and identities. Eren is especially passionate about serving LGBTQIA2S+ communities, individuals with ADHD and autism (AUDHD), and other diverse and historically marginalized populations. Their approach is affirming, strengths-based, and grounded in cultural humility.
Beyond their clinical work, Eren has contributed to the development and evolution of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies within organizations. They have also been involved in advocacy and community engagement, including work with Latinx individuals in the gaming space. In recognition of their impact, they received a special honor from the Gayming Magazine Awards.
