Maryam (she/her) draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches but identifies most strongly with the person-centered approach, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes deeply in the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance and providing a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard and understood.
With a professional background as an educator, Maryam has over a decade of experience creating nurturing, growth-oriented environments. As a classroom teacher, she supported students’ academic and social-emotional development, implementing responsive teaching practices and behavior management systems. This experience continues to inform her therapeutic work, allowing her to bring compassion, patience, and a strengths-based perspective to her clients.
Maryam’s professional journey reflects her dedication to fostering resilience, self-understanding, and healing in the individuals and couples she serves.
Maryam offers individual services to children, adults, and couples both in person and via telehealth.
