Quinton (he/him) enjoys working with people 15 and over experiencing challenges around work, mood, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, grief, and attachment. His clients may be struggling with stressful situations at home, work, or in finding balance between the two. He is especially passionate about vocational therapy, which explores the relationship between mental health and work, and may include issues such as a career change, loss of employment, workplace trauma, or parents trying to find a balance between work and family. He believes that a healthy and satisfying work life is an important part of overall wellness. Quinton uses a flexible, integrative approach that incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and brings a strengths-based, collaborative perspective to the therapeutic relationship.
Prior to joining Aurora, Quinton has worked as an outpatient Counselor in various settings including the Boston University Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation, and a local Program for Assertive Community Treatment. These experiences inform his holistic approach to therapy, focusing on cultivating skills and supports, finding community, building resiliency, and developing a strong sense of self. Quinton moved to New England to pursue his Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Boston College, which he completed in 2018. In his spare time, Quinton enjoys rock climbing, writing music, romantic comedies, board games, and exploring New England. (Sadly, he does not enjoy seafood.)
Quinton offers individual services both in person and via telehealth.
