Aleeya (she/her) works with teens (15+) and adults throughout their lifespan. Aleeya graduated in 2018 from Northwestern University with a Master’s in Counseling. She draws on a number of theoretical approaches, notably psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral, but believes in adapting therapy to meet individual needs. Her approach is relational, warm, and strengths-based, seeking to understand and collaborate with each individual in how they wish to approach the struggles they face. Aleeya enjoys working with individuals on issues related to the LGBTQIA+ experience, recurring dysfunctional relationship patterns, mood and anxiety disorders, and adjustment to life changes. Her belief is that connection, curiosity, and respect, without judgment, leads to empowerment and insight which plants the seed for healing.
Aleeya offers individual and couples services both in person and via telehealth.
