Ruth (she/they) works with children ages 3 – 12 along with their parents/families, and also sees young adults and adults individually. Ruth obtained her Master’s in Counseling from Framingham State University in 2016. Ruth brings a warm and strength-based approach to her work, modeling co-regulation strategies for parents and offering opportunities for play and therapeutic activities for child clients. She often uses experiential strategies with both children and adults related to how trauma resides in the body. In addition to treating trauma, her work with adults addresses issues of ADHD, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and substance overuse. Ruth believes in supporting the whole family, using a trauma-informed, strength-based lens, seeing the family as a system whose different members all contribute to its health.
Ruth offers individual and family services to children, adults and families, both in person and via telehealth.
