Sophie (she/her) works with children, teens, and young adults experiencing trauma, interpersonal conflicts, anxiety and depression. After experiencing first-hand the magic of a good therapist, Sophie decided to pursue her passion for psychology and embark on a career in mental health counseling, recently earning her Master’s in Counseling with a child specialization through Northwestern University. She applies humanistic and relational approaches in her talk therapy, and also may use play techniques or Trauma-Focused CBT. Sophie is aware of the extraordinary societal pressure felt by teens and young adults today, and brings unconditional acceptance and understanding to all her therapeutic relationships.
Sophie receives referrals through the Aurora Intake Department at 508-650-0991, x900, or info@auroracounselingassociates.com. She accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts HMO/PPO/GIC, Harvard Pilgrim and Optum plans, and private pay at a reduced fee. She is a pre-licensed Master’s-level clinician working toward independent licensure, and receives in-house clinical supervision with Katherine Price, LMHC.
